Много лет в Москве работает Свято-Спиридоньевская богадельня, где сестры милосердия ухаживают за больными с серьезными заболеваниями.
Ольга Иорданская - старшая сестра милосердия. Работа в богадельне – это служение, только с таким настроем можно выдержать те трудности, с которыми сталкивается здесь сестра. Ольга увлечена своей работой и говорит, что она на своем месте и ей это нравится. Это служение - не героическое, а человеческое. Сестры Милосердия - последние кто видит в них не "стариков", а людей. Кто знает рассказы о жизни, о том как целовали когда-то в любви эту морщинистую руку, кто будет помнить как их глаза смеялись.

For many years, the St.Spiridon Almshouse has been operating in Moscow, where Sisters of Mercy take care of patients with serious illnesses. Olga Iordanskaya is the Senior Sister of Mercy.
Working at the Almshouse is a service, and only with this mindset can one endure the challenges that a sister faces there. Is it difficult to care for people with mental health issues? Yes, it is! It's good if you have the strength to turn it into humor and laugh in a kind way, but sometimes you're completely unprepared for it and perceive it as a slap in the face, even though it's clear that the person isn't intentionally saying it, they're just not in their right mind. However, Olga is passionate about her work and says, "I'm in my place. I really enjoy it. This is my service. Not heroic. Human." Sisters of Mercy the last one who sees them not as "old people" but as people. Who remembers how this wrinkled hand was once kissed in love, and how these eyes used to laugh.
