Один кадр с репетиции, который говорит больше любого выступления.
Пустой зал. Высота колосников 20 метров. Когда смотришь через видоискатель - ничего не страшно. Я хочу снять новый трюк, который пока еще не видели зрители, с необычного ракурса.
Этого андалузского жеребца зовут Фестив. Фест. И он лежит. Это кажется простым движением со стороны, но стоит неимоверных трудов. Заставить лошадь лежать, когда вокруг тишина и никого, кроме тебя – нельзя. Её можно только убедить. Только заслужить такое доверие, чтобы она легла сама, потому что рядом ты.
Дрессировщик проходит мимо, едва касаясь взглядом. Никаких команд. Только связь, которую не порвать. Седло на манеже недалеко - как символ того, что работа над номером идет, но главная работа уже сделана. Она - в сердце этого коня.

One shot from the rehearsal, which says more than any performance.
An empty hall. The height of the grates is 20 meters. When you look through the viewfinder, nothing is scary. I want to shoot a new trick that the audience hasn't seen yet, from an unusual angle.
This Andalusian stallion is called Festiv. The festival. And he's lying down. It seems like a simple move from the outside, but it costs an incredible amount of effort. You can't make a horse lie down when there's silence all around and no one but you. You can only convince it. You can only earn its trust so that it lies down on its own because you're there.
The trainer walks by, barely glancing at the horse. There are no commands. There's only a connection that can't be broken. The saddle on the arena is a symbol that the work is still ongoing, but the main part has already been done. It's in the horse's heart.
